About us

Welcome to the service platform national identification program biometric

This platform is the portal for the services of the national biometric identification program. It aims, on the one hand, to inform you about the different procedures and formalities possible within the framework of the biometric identification program and, on the other hand, to facilitate your user experience with the National Identification Agency. It will allow you to:

  • do your pre-registration online;
  • find the registration center closest to your home;
  • follow your registration until your Identification Number is issued Biometric (UIN);
  • download your Biometric Identification Number (UIN);
  • generate a virtual Number;
  • contact the National Identification Agency for any support needs.

These features are available, wherever you are in Togolese territory or outside, from your smartphone, tablet or PC.

How does the platform work?

The platform presents the main services offered remotely by ANID for the benefit of any person registered or wishing to register in the national biometric identification program.

Pre-registration allows demographic data to be provided online in order to save time when going to the registration center by only collecting biometric data.

The registration center search allows you to locate the center closest to your home.

Tracking your registration gives you the status of your UIN application by informing you of the steps already completed.

Downloading the UIN is an opportunity offered to each registered person to download their proof of identity and keep it on their phone.

Generating a virtual UIN is an option allowing you to temporarily have a UIN to carry out operations without revealing your real NIU. The virtual UIN is temporary, revocable and linked to the real UIN.

Registering a complaint allows you to notify ANID of any problem encountered in the use of your NIU or in a broader context of the implementation of the program. This channel also allows you to report grievances, recommendations, suggestions to ANID or to denounce any act contrary to regulatory provisions.

Authentication management allows you to lock or unlock the authentication option. When you unlock your authentication, you give your consent that the authentication operation can be carried out when a public service needs to authenticate you. This option is unlocked by default.

Consulting the authentication history allows each UIN holder to follow the authentication operations carried out.

Find My Contacts rovides an overview of the phone number and email address provided during registration.
